Faker, also known as EXE, made by Raven, is the result of a botched attempt at creating a vessel by the inter-dimensional entity known as X, who cast him aside shortly after his creation.
He is set to be the main antagonist of his own upcoming game, Sonic Prototype 2017, which also takes place in the same time period as the SOULLESS SAGA.
